Priority One Socials Night.

September 27, 2026 · Cruise Matahau

Last Saturday night, we got the Priority One family together for dinner and drinks at Argyle House in Camden. No gym floor, no programs. Just good food and better company, in our own private section of the venue.

Nights like this aren't about training. They're about everything training builds around it.

Most of the night was exactly what I wanted to see: clients who train at different times, different locations, different stages of their own journey, sitting across from each other, swapping stories, realising how much they actually have in common. Someone three months in, sitting next to someone three years in. That's the side of this that never shows up in a program.

I made my way around every table. Checked in with everyone, cracked a few jokes that only a few people in the room were going to get (you know who you are). That's the job too. Not just writing the program, but making sure everyone in the room feels like they belong in it.

By the end of the night the whole room was just talking. Sharing wins, sharing setbacks, rallying around each other the same way they do in a semi-private session at 6am. That's the standard I want outside the gym too, not just inside it.

This is the first one of these. Not the last. Next up: the Christmas party.
